Stewart, who has trained three winners from his last six starters, won the Moruya Town Plate on January 3, with Akeed proving too good in the $50,000 feature event for jockey, Jean Van Overmeire.
On Thursday, Stewart has a major player in the $29,000 Narooma Cup, with Rapidity in action.
"I think she is a good chance. With wet conditions, there should be some give in the track, even though it will clear up by then," Stewart said
"She had a good run at Canberra last start without luck, and she probably should have finished closer, but I think she is a chance."
The Duporth mare has started 23 times, registering four wins, which includes a strong victory over the likes of Crucial Witness and Girls Are Ready in a 1200m Benchmark 65 Handicap at Canberra three starts back.
Louise Day jumps in the saddle on Thursday, and from gate five, Stewart believes Rapidity is suited on her home track and over the 1200m journey.
"On her home track, she is two wins and a placing from five starts and I expect that she will go good over 1200m," Stewart said.
"She beat Girls Are Ready a couple of starts back, and Girls Are Ready goes around at Warwick Farm (on Wednesday) and she came second in the Moruya Cup.
"We are drawn well and she is on the minimum (weight), and she looks every chance in an open field."
Stewart takes three runners to Moruya, and the local trainer is well placed to take out the Sandy Cummins trainer's series, worth $3000 to the winner.
As it stands, Stewart is one of only two trainers on two wins following two meetings, and he trails leading trainer, Mathew Dale, by a second placing.
"It's a good promotion. You do target your home track races but you do keep an eye on it, and when you are in contention for these things, it is pretty exciting," Stewart said.
The Moruya trainer hopes last-start winner Iconic Dame can kick off his stable's day in the right fashion in the third race, the 1010m Class One Handicap.
"Iconic Dame in the third race would be my best chance of the day," Stewart said.
"Albeit she jumps from a wide gate, but she is definitely a filly with form, and I expect her to feature."
The Sandy Cummins jockey's series, worth $1500 to the winner, is another close affair, with Nick Heywood leading on three winners from Jeff Penza, who has two wins, three seconds and a two thirds.
Heywood has five rides and Penza boasts a full book of rides on the seven-race-program.
