The Southern NSW Local Health District has reported 39 new cases of COVID-19 on Wednesday morning, including 21 in the Queanbeyan Palerang LGA and six in the Eurobodalla Shire.

Of the 21 new cases in the Queanbeyan Palerang Shire, nine are in Googong, three are in Jerrabomberra, two are in Karabar, two are in Carwoola, two are in Crestwood, two are in Queanbeyan, and one is in Bungendore.
In the Eurobodalla Shire, one new case was detected in Woodlands, one was detected in Batehaven, and two were detected in both Narooma and Moruya.
Elsewhere, there were four cases in Goulburn, one in Tarago, and one in Wayo in the Goulburn Mulwaree LGA.
There were four new cases detected in the Snowy Monaro LGA: two in Jindabyne, one in Bombala and one in Thredbo, and there was one case in each of Murrumbateman and Wheeo.
After Wednesday's numbers, SNSWLHD has now had 847 total cases since the beginning of the Delta outbreak in June, and there are 218 active cases in the district.
Of those 218 cases, 39 require virtual care and one person has been admitted to hospital.
Tragically, four people have died with COVID-19 since June in the district.
