The first of the plays is directed by Phillip Barr and explores a peaceful night at home derailed by an unexpected visitor, leading to intrigue and family secrets.
The second of the two plays, 'Love or Nearest Offer' is directed by Mary Kell, who recently turned 95. While Mary has decided to end her time on stage, she brings a wealth of experience as director. The romantic comedy sees a car salesman hired by an introduction agency trying to apply car yard sales techniques to his new profession.
Music before the performance and during the interval will be performed by Stafford Ray & The Moonlighters - who have collaborated with Red Door Theatre Company previously with much success.
Moruya Red Door Theatre Company was founded in 2016 by a team of local, talented performers and their previous performances, most recently a 'A Comedy of Tenors', have all been received well by the local community.
Love on the Run will be on show on the following dates:
- January 22 and 23 at Moruya Golf Club
- January 29 and 30 at Moruya RSL Hall
- February 5 and 6 at St Peters Anglican College Broulee.
