Transport for NSW is developing options to improve pedestrian safety in Mogo, and the community is invited to have their say.

Options to be investigated by Transport for NSW include the installation of traffic lights and a pedestrian crossing as well as improved signs.
Parking will also be investigated as another safety option was to remove some parking on the Princes Highway and consider alternative parking locations and improved access to the Church Street carpark.
Member for Bega Andrew Constance said the development of these options came about after consultation with the community in 2020.
"Transport for NSW received feedback from more than 240 members of the community in November last year highlighting that pedestrian safety was critical to making Mogo a more accessible place for locals and visitors to shop and explore the village," Mr Constance said.
"I ask that all members of the community who have an interest in this plan to provide feedback so the best design can be developed, ensuring the continuation of Mogo's popularity and future growth."
The community can provide feedback until December 22.
"Following feedback from the community, further investigation and design work will be undertaken to refine the designs," Mr Constance said.
"Improved pedestrian safety and access will support the growth of local businesses and the economy in the area. Improvements will help support tourism and allow residents and visitors to easily access the town centre."
Pedestrian safety improvements at Mogo are part of the short-term priorities in the 20-year plan for the Princes Highway upgrade program.
