The club announced its coaching staff via Facebook on November 14, with just two major changes to the roster.
Taking charge of the Third Grade side for a record seventh season will be Mick Kenny, with Nathan Blackers promoted to the role of assistant coach, while Cam Carr will come on board for his first year with the men's reserve grade team. Aaron Wickham will round out the coaching appointments for his second year in charge of the women's side.
"We're rapt to have all three [head] coaches on board," Seahawks president, Heath Petterwood, said.
"Not only do they bring good experience, but they bring good culture to the footy club. With what we've recruited, and the three coaches, we're looking forward to a successful 2022."
With the current coaches at the helm, Kenny believes the Seahawks can perform well in all grades.
He believes Carr is an ideal choice to fill the shoes of outgoing Fourth Grade coach, Simon Croft.
"Cam came to the club back in 2019, he's one of our Canberra-based players and he's taken on the role of our Reserve Grade coach," Kenny said.
"He's taken over from Simon Croft who did an excellent job for four years and stepped away for a few other reasons.
"Cam's taken over and he's a really popular member of the footy club ... I think that he'll bring a good bit of experience."
The women's team were unlucky not to play finals considering the strength of their campaign prior to the competition's cancellation. However, under Wickham's guidance, Kenny believes they can crack finals.
"Aaron took some massive leaps last year," Kenny said.
"He sort of got thrown into the role at the start of last year, and if you talk to him you'll find that he had massive growth from his first game to his last.
"He's been pretty unlucky as well, the women were well-poised in a strong position last season, so I'm sure he'll have the girls ready and firing in 2022."
Although the Third Grade team has lost a couple of important players in the off-season, Kenny is confident that he and Blackers can oversee the continuation of the team's form which led them to second place on the ladder this year.
"Nathan was last year's captain, but he's stepped up to be assistant coach this year," Kenny said.
"He's a Canberra-based player and controls all our Canberra crew up there with trainings and stuff like that."
