Well, I'm back and so is 'Gossip Gal!' After 8 months on the road in my motor home called 'Dypsy', it was so great to be back in beautiful Batemans Bay. It is comforting to be in familiar surroundings when the world is in turmoil.

First, a big 'Thank You' to Jenny Scott who substituted for me whilst I was on the road. Jenny is a social butterfly so was very capable in my absence!
Last week, Simone Bingley from Broulee celebrated her 19th birthday. Simone was a premi baby and just look at the beautiful girl she is today! Happy Birthday Simone.
Julie and Mark Waters celebrated 20 years in business this week, trading as 'Waters Service Centre'. These two folk are the salt of the earth and deserve every bit of success which has come to them through sheer hard work, loyalty and pride in their work. As Julie said, "Along the way we have seen a huge change in technology and met some fabulous people.
Despite having to listen to the odd swear word and witness a fair amount of tool throwing, all in all it has been an enjoyable journey. Well done Julie and Mark and here' to another 20 years!
Chloe Knight from Moruya also blew out a few candles last week and no doubt Nanna Salkeld would have whipped up a cake....or two?
Surfside woman about town, Anna Wiggins celebrated her 21st AGAIN last Sunday. I'm guessing Her hubby Ross brought her breakfast in bed but then I could be wrong because Ross had a birthday himself last week so it may have been a joint celebration.
Catalina 'gal', Tracy Mayo also enjoyed a birthday last week and according to friends, did 100 sit ups to celebrate! Not my idea of a birthday celebration....bring on the cake I say!
