The shire's favourite community radio station, 2EAR FM, will be operating for another five years, thanks to the efforts of secretary Kathy Shields.

Mrs Shields compiled and submitted the lengthy application document to the Australian Communications and Media Authority (ACMA) in November 2020.
She said the applications are thoroughly assessed by the ACMA team and can take up to twelve months to be finalised.
Mrs Shields was was thrilled when the news arrived that the licence was granted. 2EAR FM will broadcast again for the next five years from December 4, 2021.
Her hard work has paid off as this is Mrs Shields' third successful licence application for the radio station.
Mrs Shields not only presents programs on 2EAR FM, but keeps herself busy in our community.
Recently, she been successful with several grant applications for 2EAR FM as well as for the Moruya Antique Tractor and Machinery Association (MATAMA).
