Luke Gallen was arguably the standout player of the round for Batemans Bay, thanks to his rollicking innings of 53 from 39 balls in Stage 3 Division A, which included seven fours and one six.
This propelled the Bay to a total of 5-162 from 28 overs against Berry-Shoalhaven Heads at Shoalhaven's Zealand Oval.
But an equally stunning innings of 67 off 36 from Berry's Jackson Ingram saw the home side claim a dramatic win with just three wickets remaining.

After losing the toss, Batemans Bay bowled first and, despite some individual bowling efforts, could not prevent the home side from piling on a total of 4-184.
Despite a gritty innings of 17 from opening batter Nick Wain and a rearguard knock of 32 from Mason Fardell, Batemans Bay could only manage 106 in response.
Although the Stage 2 team did not play due to the weather, Stage One did and scored a hard-earned win against Ulladulla United Blue at Hanging Rock.
After the visitors batted first and scored 5-44 from a shortened ten-over innings, Batemans Bay successfully chased down the runs with seven wickets remaining despite the sodden conditions.
