The Batemans Bay service was led by Bay RSL secretary Les Arnould at the cenotaph, with a good turnout of about 80 people.
"We didn't advertise the service too widely because we were concerned about keeping numbers down with COVID, but I'm very pleased with the turnout," he said.
A group of 40 Batemans Bay RSL members attended a luncheon at the Soldiers Club after the service.
In Moruya, around 30 people attended the service, including shire bugle player Peter Poole who played The Last Post.
After the ceremony there was a fly by in a small jet.
Moruya RSL sub-branch secretary Sandy Patterson said the rain held off so it was a pleasant day for the service.
In Narooma, a small service was held at the cemetery, with wreaths laid to commemorate the day.
