Five local government areas (LGAs) in South East NSW reached a major vaccination milestone on Tuesday, with 95 per cent of residents aged 15-years-and-over double jabbed.

Data released by the Department of Health showed residents in the Bega Valley, Eurobodalla, Shellharbour, Upper Lachlan and Yass Valley shires reached the initial target this week, with other areas expected to join in coming weeks.
The Shoalhaven and Kiama are not far behind with 94.2 per cent and 94.3 per cent of residents double vaccinated.
South Eastern NSW Primary Health Network COORDINARE expects a 100 per cent COVID vaccination rates in all LGAs in South Eastern NSW is achievable.
On the whole, 89.9 per cent of over 16 year-olds in NSW are double vaccinated as of Tuesday morning, November 9.
The state is expected to reach the 90 per cent milestone later on Tuesday or Wednesday.
