Since mid-August, a varying number of stores have been closed or trading under conditions to comply with COVID-19 restrictions.
Now lockdowns have eased, stores have begun to reopen and are welcoming locals back to shop.
"It is great to begin welcoming back customers to the shopping centre to enjoy all our stores " centre manager Glenn Atkins said.
"The safety of our customers are always our priority, and we will continue to have measures in place to ensure we maintain a COVID safe shopping environment."
Stores that have returned to trading include Kmart, who reopened on Monday, October 11 and are currently opening from 8am to 9pm, along with hairdressers and clothing stores that will operating at varying trading hours. Visit villagecentreandbridgeplaza.com.au for further information on stores opening hours.
When shopping in the centre, management asked shoppers to ensure they will follow the NSW COVID-19 guidelines.
