A Far South Coast man has been arrested and is assisting police after a property near Batemans Bay was searched by officers on Thursday.

A NSW Police spokesperson said a 44-year-old man was arrested after officers searched a property in Nelligen on the afternoon of September 30.
"About 2pm yesterday, officers attached to South Coast Police District executed a search warrant at a property on The River Road, Nelligen," the spokesperson said.
"Police allegedly found and seized a gel blaster firearm, ammunition, cannabis plants, dried cannabis leaf, and equipment consistent with the cultivation of cannabis.
"Following inquiries, a 44-year-old man was arrested and taken to Batemans Bay Police Station.
"Inquiries into the matter are continuing."
The Nelligen man is yet to be charged with any offences.
