Anyone over the age of 18 is eligible for a free heart health screening and nurses will be at the Batemans Bay Village Centre from 9am to 4pm on Tuesday, May 4.
Victor Chang Cardiac Research Institute nurses will be testing in local communities for three of the key modifiable risk factors of heart disease: blood pressure, blood sugar, and cholesterol.
Knowing these numbers can save your life, or the life of someone you love and by understanding your risks today, you'll have the power to change what happens tomorrow.
Heart disease is a leading cause of death in Australia, but regular heart health checks can help prevent common types of heart disease such as heart attacks and strokes.
The tests take no more than 15 minutes and do not require a booking.
See the Heart Health Check tour schedule for more information on pop up locations.
