Eurobodalla Shire Council asked to hear what the community wanted for the village to provide a clear vision and long term roadmap for Mogo.
An online survey and face-to-face drop-in sessions was available for resident's input, to ensure the plan reflected the community's aspirations.
Eurobodalla Shire Mayor Liz Innes said the plan had the potential to bring real, tangible change to Mogo and she urged the community to be involved, whatever their views.
"It is so important Mogo residents and business owners take an interest in this process and tell Council what they want for the village's future," she said.
"We all want to see Mogo not just recover, but flourish."
The plan will take a whole-of-village town planning approach and find out how infrastructure like toilets, parks, parking, picnic tables and barbecues can best be provided.
The community might also suggest other projects that contribute to Mogo, like what the streetscape could look like, what they would like to be able to do or buy in Mogo and future opportunities such as the Mogo Adventure Trails Hub.
"Once we have a plan, Council and the community will have a shared vision, enabling them to work together to implement," Mayor Innes said.
The drop-in sessions will be held on Tuesday, April 27 at 11.30am to 1.30pm and 4.30pm to 5.30pm and Wednesday, April 28 at 11.30am to 1.30pm at John Street Reserve, Mogo.
Community members can drop in at any time to ask questions and provide feedback on what they think is important for Mogo's future.

The survey will be open until Friday, May 7 2021.
