Did you know? Moruya is now home to a brand new Marine Rescue boat - super handy for our Tuross Marine Rescue team to get through that dangerous Moruya bar quickly in an emergency.
Speaking of Marine Rescue, how about the fisherman they rescued whose kayak started sinking on Coila Lake - we are so lucky to have volunteers in times of need.
Volunteering is rewarding, have you ever thought of trying something different and new to help in the community? This week the Eurobodalla Palliative Care Volunteer Service reached out for more helpers to brighten the day of those whose life is at the end of the road.
Perhaps, you're more hands-on and could help build fences destroyed after the fires - BlazeAid needs volunteers too!
