A spokesperson from the Bay Theatre Players said there are so many opportunities to be involved in local community theatre.
"Next Wednesday, the Bay Theatre Players invite you to explore a wonderful play by the prolific Australian playwright, Hannie Rayson, who penned Hotel Sorrento and Life After George."
This month's play exploration Falling from Grace, is a play that follows three 40-something women, who are colleagues and friends for years that are juggling husbands, lovers, children and work, and are about to be challenged even further with a moral and ethical dilemma. This is a play with a bright comic surface and mysterious depths to enjoy, along with some coffee and supper. You are invited to the Playhouse next Wednesday at 7pm, 33 Gregory St Batemans Bay.
On Sunday, March 14, The Bay Theatre Players Youth Theatre is holding auditions for their major production, The Addams Family.
"This is an exciting opportunity for all young people aged eight to 20 years, to be part of a frightfully funny and classically kooky musical," the spokesperson said.
Audition places must be scheduled before the audition day, so contact Belinda Quick for an audition pack and place on 0448 830 011 or bquick141@hotmail.com. The Addams Family is on stage in November 2021.
Audition opportunities will also be open to young female actors on Sunday, March 28, for an amazing Australian Play, The Children of the Black Skirt by Angela Betzien.
The Bay Theatre Players are looking for a cast of three females, aged about 15-30 years, who are able to transform into different characters that include young children and adults, both male and female.
This will be a fantastic opportunity to explore and showcase your acting talents. For audition pack and to register your intention to audition please contact Lyn Sterling 0416 181 003 or email lsterling@bigpond.com
