On Tuesday morning, a Batemans Bay Police spokesperson said callers could continue to contact the station through the main phone line.
In an emergency, dial Triple 0.
He said a thunderstorm interrupted some internal numbers at the station about 3.30pm on Monday.
At the time, the Bureau of Meteorology warned a severe thunderstorm would produce damaging winds, heavy rainfall that could lead to large hailstones and life-threatening flash flooding on the South Coast.
