Moruya SES crews have been inundated with calls for assistance after the Boxing Day storm (December 26) and thanked the community for being patient.

"Our members are currently working through a high volume of calls for assistance due to storm damage," an SES spokesperson said.
The spokesperson provided some tips for those affected by the storm.
"Check around your house, yard and balcony and secure any loose items such as trampolines and furniture," the spokesperson said.
"Be aware of trees that have been damaged and are likely to be more unstable and more likely to fall."
"Call the NSW SES on 132 500 if you have experienced damage from storms, wind, hail or a fallen tree and if a tree branch is threatening your property or a person's safety. For life threatening emergencies please call 000."
The Bureau of Meteorology recorded wind gusts of 95km at Moruya Airport just after 7pm on Saturday.

The downpour damaged bitumen and caused flash flooding in parts of the shire.
The Eurobodalla Shire Council asked drivers to take care on roads and avoid George Bass Drive at Guerilla Bay as emergency repairs were underway.
