Crews stood down after reports of missing swimmer at Wagonga Inlet
Helicopters and rescuers were called to search for a missing swimmer in the Wagonga Inlet, Narooma, on Saturday night, November 28.
A police spokesperson said an informant called Triple 0 after she said she heard a voice requesting help in water outside Bar Beach's netted area about 9.30pm.
Paramedics, police, Marine Rescue vessels and a Toll Ambulance Rescue Helicopter were called to the scene.
The police spokesperson said all enquiries were conducted in the search, including enquiries with the informant.
Emergency services were satisfied there was no missing person and rescuers were stood down.
Marine Rescue Monaro Regional Operations Manager Glenn Sullivan said Surf Life Saving NSW was also involved in the search and Marine Rescue crews were stood down at 12.30am.
