The Bay Theatre Players are accustomed to presenting at least three or four productions in any given year. In this very strange year, marred by the bushfire emergency and COVID-19, not a single production has been able to make it to the stage. Needless to say, the players and audiences are itching to get back onto the stage and back into their seats, for fun and entertainment that we all deserve.

Director of The Bay Theatre Players next major production, Candy Burgess, is thrilled to announce performance dates for this spectacular production. The Drowsy Chaperone will kick off the 2021 theatre season, opening on Friday, April 9, running matinee and evening shows until May 1.
After the longest rehearsal period for a Bay Theatre Players show, due to restrictions and numerous postponements, the cast of The Drowsy Chaperone are excited to present a preview of their show to family and friends before taking a break for the summer. Candy has been heartened by the enthusiasm and commitment of her cast and crew this year.
