Lifesavers of the seven Far South Coast surf clubs will be set up at their respective beaches on weekends and public holidays, through to the end of April.
Patrolled beaches include, Malua Bay, Broulee, Moruya, Narooma, Bermagui, Tathra and Pambula.
The volunteer lifesaving service began on Saturday and Sunday, November 7-8. Check out the photo gallery below.
Council contracted lifeguard services will begin during the summer school holiday period, where additional beaches are patrolled throughout the week.
It is always recommended to swim at a patrolled beach, in between the red and yellow flags.
To find the nearest patrolled beach to you, download the BeachSafe app or visit the website which includes current information and conditions for every beach in Australia.
It shows patrol services, hazards and facilities as well as weather, swell and tide details.
