After a few months' hibernation due to COVID-19, general manager Andrea Giri confirmed the resort was ready with the sign changed to the new name, Batemans Bay Marina Resort.
Ms Giri said the change of hands took place at the end of February, 2020.
After five weeks of regular trade, the COVID-19 pandemic hit, and halted progress of the resort.
During this period, the resort housed locals and tradesmen in the region in the aftermath of the fires and worked tirelessly to improve the standards.
Staff were looking forward to a fresh start.
"While the old Coachhouse has been a well-known landmark in Batemans Bay for many years, the new owners, Hampshire Property Group, are keen to refresh the resort and implement some improvements and upgrades," Ms Giri said.
"The first improvement is recognition of the resort's unique waterfront location with a change of name."
The owners were taking steps to put the property back on the map.
"With 89 onsite villas, Marina, boat ramp and easy beach access, Hampshire is looking to develop additional powered sites and new tourist cabin stock," Ms Giri said.
"We are very keen to do our bit in attracting visitors back to the area."
Ms Giri, who has been a caravan park manager at Moruya Heads and Broulee for the past six years, aimed to bring the community closer together.
"We are looking to host new amenities and events for our locals, visitors and guests," Ms Giri said.
The first foodies event will be held at the Batemans Bay Marina Resort on Saturday and Sunday, October 3-4, 12-9pm.
It will include an onsite bar, a number of food and dessert stalls, retail stalls and some local buskers providing entertainment.
The Coachhouse made headlines in 2019, when the owners at the time applied for a seniors living development.
The state government panel rejected the application in August, 2019, with Regional Planning Director Alison McCabe saying it would be "one of the most important major developments in Batemans Bay" and the application had "major constraints".
