The weather might have been nice for ducks but few other species in recent days, but Narooma Sport and Gamefishing Club members were out and about in their runabouts before the East Coast Low hit.
Les Waldock reports the gummy sharks were also out and about.
On July 22, he reported that members Clive Perry and Peter Duivenvoorden had returned from down south, where they had found some gummy shark off Mystery Bay.
"Well done boys, nice fish and chips coming up," Les said.
He also reported that Justin Fulton had got among the gummy sharks in the same week and he had the same culinary advice.
Earlier in the month, the gummy sharks has also proved rewarding for Les himself.
On July 9, club members Ray Layton and Les fished off Tilba for a nice catch.
