At about 4.40pm, police contacted the Westpac Life Saver Rescue Helicopter, asking to retrieve two people cut off by flood waters at Belowra.
Shane Daw of Westpac Life Saver Rescue Helicopter said Moruya's Lifesaver 23 was tasked to the job.
"Police advised us they were low on medical supplies," Mr Daw said.
"The chopper landed and retrieved two people and has taken them to safety to be cared for and get medical supplies."
