Batemans Bay Fire and Rescue crews rushed to the two-storey home on Kurrawa Drive at about 8.15am.
A Fire and Rescue spokesman said "the back part of the clip-lock roof had blown off" the A-frame home.
Crews were also confronted with bonded asbestos sheeting among the large amount of debris.
Debris from the collapsed roof had trapped an 82-year-old man. The spokesman said it was a "relatively minor incident".
"The man and his wife were removed from the premises and had found alternative accommodation for the time," the spokesman said.
The spokesman said Rural Fire Service crews helped clear the debris to make the area as safe as possible given the weather conditions.
"There was also minor structural damage to the adjacent premises," the spokesman said.
He said Hazmat teams were sent "to mitigate the asbestos risk".
Batemans Bay Fire and Rescue crews helped other emergency services at Ulladulla yesterday, July 27.
"There were a few power lines brought down by trees; we were there making it safe before energy crews arrived," the spokesman said.
"There were lots of calls for flooding, and AFA's (automatic fire alarms) going off because of water damage.
"We haven't had an MVA (motor vehicle accident) so that's been a positive."
When Bay firefighters left Ulludulla at about 6pm, the spokesman said three trees "all within a space of 20km" fell across the Princes Highway.
"In the Kioloa area, one fairly substantial tree blocked traffic in both directions," the spokesman said.
"We cut the head off the tree to get traffic through one lane."
As crews worked to clear the tree, the spokesman said a member of the public rushed to inform them a car had crashed into another fallen tree further south on the Princes Highway.
"A member of the public came up to us, and was travelling with someone in a second car who smashed into a tree, deploying all his airbags and the car wouldn't restart," the spokesman said.
"The driver was fine, he had slightly bruised wrists."
Firefighters helped cut the tree to remove the vehicle which was then towed from the scene.
"The guy in the car was very lucky, another couple of seconds and he could have been under the tree with major injuries," the spokesman said.
SES crews informed firefighters of another smaller tree that had fallen further south again. Rural Fire Service crews helped clear the highway with SES crews.
Bay Fire and Rescue returned to the station at about 9pm. The spokesman urged drivers to take extra care on the roads.
"Stay vigilant and drive to conditions, please don't drive on the roads if you don't need to," the spokesman said.
"Also, be vigilant in terms of trees falling over in bushfire-affected areas, the roots systems are compromised on the trees."
