Police have warned not to drive through flood waters after a man was trapped in his car at Congo Creek on Monday morning, July 27.

A Batemans Bay police spokesperson said at 8.05am, they received the call a man in his thirties had become stuck after he drove through flood waters in his Ford Mondeo.
Officers arrived at the scene at 8.25am and assisted the Congo man, in his thirties, and dropped him home, police said.
Moruya SES were also called to the scene.
The spokesperson warned road users not to drive through flood waters and to stay off the roads where possible during wild weather.
He said there were many trees down in the area and Eurobodalla Shire SES crews were busy.
