Labor candidate Kristy McBain has been officially declared winner of the Eden-Monaro by-election.
The Australian Electoral Commission made the declaration on Monday, with Ms McBain beating her Liberal rival Fiona Kotvojs by 766 votes.

The by-election in the southern NSW seat was triggered by the retirement of Labor Mike Kelly for health reasons.
