A Southern NSW Local Health District spokesperson said callers to the 1800 999 880 COVID line will be provided with information on testing eligibility and clinic times and locations.
Tests can be undertaken at Moruya Hospital and at pop-up clinics at Malua Bay and Hanging Rock.
This information is also available at www.snswlhd.health.nsw.gov.au
"You can now also register your details for testing over the phone before heading to a site clinic," the health service said.
"By calling the 1800 999 880 COVID line, you'll also be given an option to speak with a Registered Nurse or health care worker if you're unwell, need more information, or have specific needs that requires a scheduled appointment for a COVID-19 test.
"If you are very unwell contact triple zero.
"Remember, the local team will need to register you at the testing clinic when you arrive if you haven't done so over the phone, so make sure you have your Medicare card and GP contact information with you.
"An online query and booking form is being made available on the SNSWLHD website to register for a call back regarding test results or other queries.
"Our staff are working to provide the community with timely, safe and appropriate access to COVID testing across the District, and we appreciate the community's cooperation and patience during this time.
