Moruya Fire and Rescue crews were called to extinguish burning trees on Saturday, June 20, fallen after a hazard reduction on Friday.
Captain Mark Gould said a pumper truck was sent to Hazel Road, where the trees had reignited after the hazard reduction burn.
The trees had fallen over within the burnt area. Captain Gould said there was a concern the trees could spark a fire. The crew extinguished the hot areas and made the area safe.
Firefighters were sent to the scene twice that night, at 10pm and about 2.30am.
In between the jobs, a truck was called to an electrical fire on Luck Street about 12.30am.
Captain Gould said an in-built oven shorted out, which sparked the blaze.
Firefighters disconnected the power, and pulled out the oven to check there was no extension of fire.
Moruya Fire and Rescue was also called to assist paramedics at Tuross Head on Wednesday, June 24.
