Murchie, born in Batemans Bay, made a mid-season switch from Canberra to New Zealand in May and has played in all four of the Warriors' matches since the NRL resumption.
His impressive showing during these fixtures has seen his minutes increase in each of the four contests, including a 67-minute performance against the Rabbitohs on Friday.
The 22-year-old will replace the injured Eliesa Katoa in the back-row against Melbourne at Netstrata Jubilee Stadium - marking interim coach Todd Payten's first in charge.
Lining up on the other side will be Bega's Dale Finucane, who will start at lock for Craig Bellamy's side.
Later that night, the Dragons, which feature four Group Seven talents, will battle the red-hot Sydney Roosters - headlined by Kiama twins Josh and Brett Morris at Bankwest Stadium.
Elsewhere, Nowra-born Cody Walker and his Rabbitohs will be aiming for their third straight victory on Thursday, when they lock horns with the third-placed Penrith at Netstrata Jubilee Stadium.
On Saturday, Batemans Bay's Adam O'Brien and his Knights will be out to solidify their spot in the top four against the Cowboys at Queensland Country Bank Stadium.
Following this, Rhys Kennedy (Moruya) and his Broncos will go toe-to-toe with the Titans, coached by Milton-Ulladulla's Justin Holbrook and featuring Kiama's Mitch Rein at hooker (for the first time since round two), in the south Queensland derby.
The final match on Saturday sees Batemans Bay's Brad Arthur and his Eels attempt to return to the winner's circle against the Raiders.
Then on Sunday, Gerringong's Reuben Garrick and his Sea Eagles will play the Sharks (containing Pambula-born Jack Williams) before Tathra's Adam Elliott and his Bulldogs face the Wests Tigers.
