A 52-year-old male driver was caught speeding and drink driving at Lilli Pilli on Wednesday, May 27.

At about 6.45am, Highway Patrol officers were conducting "stationary speed enforcement" on George Bass Drive, Lilli Pilli.
A Nissan ute's speed was checked at 86kph in a 60kph zone, police say.
"Police stopped the utility where the driver, returned a positive test to alcohol," a police spokesperson said.
The driver was taken to Batemans Bay Police Station where his breath was analysed and returned a reading of 0.058.
Police said the driver was issued with a penalty notice for low-range drink driving and speeding over 20kph. His licence was suspended on the spot for three months.
