Four drivers are needed to help critically ill cancer patients get to their treatment in the Eurobodalla Shire.
Regional and rural communities manager Brenna Smith said 90 percent of Cancer Council's volunteer drivers were stood down due to health risks posed by COVID-19.
"Unless we urgently recruit more volunteers under the age of 60, cancer patients won't get to their treatment - it's as simple as that," she said.
