The concept of racing is out of the question for the present, so to avoid complacency Broulee Runners are remeasuring ourselves against the clock.
When we come out of the darkness people can map their progress during this period as all their performance times will be recorded in Broulee Runners' book of results.
Prue Bartlett received her 30-run shirt this week without the usual applause.
It was left at her front door by the running fairies.
It was great to see Victoria Fleming come out to do a two-kilometre walk to record her 100th appearance.
The celebrations will come later!
Another initiative is to allow those Broulee Runners in other places to record a time over one of the accepted distances and have it included in our records.
It is great to have Broulee Runners keeping up their fitness in this difficult time.
Andrea Scroope and Evelyn and Penelope Johnston have dedicated their individual runs to support MS. They were due to do the MS fun run in Canberra however it was cancelled.
