A man allegedly spat at police after he was arrested, and has been charged with eight offences following a domestic-related incident in Batehaven on Monday, March 30.

Batemans Bay Police were called to a house in Pine Street, Batehaven about 9.10am after a triple zero call was received, a spokesperson said.
Officers located the man at Wattle Crescent, Batehaven, and he was arrested.
While being placed in the caged vehicle, he allegedly spat at police while hurling abuse, officers say.
He was taken to Batemans Bay Police Station where drugs were allegedly located in his bag.
Charges included possessing prohibited drugs, possessing equipment for administering drugs, assaulting police, intimidating police, malicious damage and intimidation and malicious damage (DV).
He was granted bail to appear at Batemans Bay Local Court on April 20, 2020.
