Clubs have been ordered to close on Monday March 23, but the Disaster Relief Recovery Centre at the Batemans Bay Soldiers Club remains open Wednesdays to Saturdays 10am-4pm.

Prime Minister Scott Morrison announced on Sunday night that Australia's clubs, pubs and restaurants were ordered to close from midday on Monday. Churches, casinos, cinemas, gyms, indoor spots venues and entertainment venues must also close, along with the licensed parts of hotels. Restaurants and cafes can still serve takeaway and do home delivery, but sit-down meals are banned.
Eurobodalla Shire clubs have faced a tough few months, with every club acting as a refuge during the bushfires.
On Monday, Batemans Bay Soldiers Club Paul Biddlestone said there was nothing the community could do to support the club at this time, other than staying safe, self-isolating and social distancing.
Mr Biddlestone hoped the community could support the club and its 100 employees after the "horror show" is over.
"We'll need it," he said. "(Let's) hope we come out of this sooner rather than later."
Club Catalina general manager Guy Chapman said while golf activities remained open on Monday morning, the club house was closed and an update on golf would be given to stakeholders this afternoon.
"We will have communication sent out to members after a board meeting," he said.
"We're getting our heads around what we've got to do to close down, regarding procedures and suppliers.
"We're not sure what lies ahead moving forward.
"I'm sure we'll come out of it bigger and stronger when we do open up again."
It wasn't an official evacuation centre, but Club Catalina acted as a refuge on New Year's Eve, when fire destroyed some homes in Catalina and surrounding areas.
"We had people sleeping over that night and the next day," he said.
"It's been a crazy year, that's for sure.
"We're trying to maintain good mental health, not just of our staff, but our members too."
Golfing activities remained open for now at the Moruya Golf Club, however staff closed its doors at midday.
The club was not offering takeaway food, but CEO Josh Prowse hoped that would change.
"We're closed as of now, until we get further advice from authorities, we're not going to do anything," Mr Prowse said.
He hoped the clubs, pubs and the hospitality and entertainment industries would get through what has been a tough time, particularly during the past few months in the shire.
"It would be nice to have places of employment for people to go back to," he said.
The club was a place of refuge during the bushfires.
"We opened the doors for people to come and stay here, and opened for overflow of the evacuation centre," he said.
"It's been a long four months of business."
On Friday, March 20, the Eurobodalla Shire Council said the Bushfire Recovery Centre in Batemans Bay and the Recovery Point in Narooma would remain open for now.
"While COVID-19 requirements limit indoor gatherings to under 100 people, the NSW Office of Emergency Management and Council consider the recovery centres an essential service for residents needing bushfire recovery support and information," a council spokesperson said.
"One of the busiest recovery centres in New South Wales, Batemans Bay has registered nearly 5000 households for assistance since opening on 15 January."
The Narooma Recovery Point has been supporting residents with essential recovery information since February, and was popular with residents from Bega Valley's north.
The centres were managed by council in collaboration with NSW Government departments.
"Staff there can help identify the right financial, housing and emotional support, get application processes started and answer questions," the spokesperson said.
"Reduced opening hours will allow the recovery teams to begin placing a greater focus on outreach services to impacted communities."
Those visiting the recovery centres are asked to follow Australian Government health warnings to help slow the spread of COVID-19.
Please practice social distancing and stay 1.5 metres from others, and don't visit the centres if you have cold or fever symptoms, if you've had contact with a confirmed COVID-19 case, or returned from overseas in the past 14 days.
The Recovery Centre is located at the Batemans Bay Soldiers Club and the Recovery Point at Narooma Golf Club.
Hours have been reduced to Wednesday to Saturday, 10am to 4pm at Batemans Bay, and Monday to Thursday, 10am to 4pm at Narooma.
