The Eurobodalla Photographic Club had planned to visit the newly closed Bird park "On the Perch" in Tathra later this year but had to fast forward their plans as the bird park announced their plans to close the park permanently on February 14. So, plans were made for a visit on Saturday, February 8, despite weather predictions of heavy rain.

Eight club members embarked on the two-hour drive to Tathra at 8am in the morning to arrive at opening at 10am to get the most out of the day.
To the delight of the members, the rain held back and the members had a great time "shooting" the many birds.
The Eurobodalla Photographic Club meets at Tomakin Hall once a month every fourth Tuesday.
