A NSW Police officer will face court over alleged repeated domestic violence assaults over a three year period. The 45-year-old sergeant, attached to the Southern Region police district, was charged on Monday, February 24 with two counts of common assault and assault occasioning actual bodily harm. Police allege the charges relate to multiple domestic incidents between 2017 and 2020, and the officer's duty status is currently under review.
