Tributes will be paid to George and Betty Windsor at the upcoming City of Shoalhaven Eisteddfod's Annual General Meeting. Mr and Mrs Windsor joined the Shoalhaven Eisteddfod committee in 1997 and for the past 23 years they have been greatly valued for their extensive knowledge, hard work and great senses of humour. They will be leave at the AGM. The City of Shoalhaven Eisteddfod's AGM will be held on Thursday, February 27 in the Bomaderry Bowling Club's Magnolia Room. Mr Windsor (OAM) has been president since 2006, and Mrs Windsor has coordinated the speech and drama individual sections for many years. The committee members offer them a heartfelt thanks for their efforts and wish them the best in their futures together. It is also timely to remind community members that entries for the 36 Shoalhaven Eisteddfod close on Sunday, March 1. Send your entries and fees in as soon as possible so as not to miss out. Go to www.shoalhaveneisteddfod.org.au/entries for the full details. The Shoalhaven Eisteddfod will run from May 15 through to June 4, 2020, and this year will be using some exciting new space for schools and troupe dance sections. The schools' dance performances and dance school troupes are at the new Shoalhaven Sports Centre, Cambewarra Road, Bomaderry, while the dance solos and tap will be at Nowra School of Arts. The schools' choral section will be held at the City Church on the corner McMahons Road and Rocky Point Road, North Nowra. All other vocal sessions will be held at the Nowra School of Arts. All instrumental sections at the Nowra School of Arts. The schools' verse-speaking section will be City Church, on the corner McMahons Road and Rocky Point Road, North Nowra.
