The Eurobodalla Recovery Centre has organised NSW Health mental health clinicians to host two information sessions, where parents and carers will learn the signs to look for in their kids, how they can help, and where to go for more help.
The sessions will be presented by clinicians who specialise in child and adolescent mental health. Information supplied will be for children of all ages, from toddlers to 18-year-olds.
The hour-long sessions will be held at Batemans Bay Soldiers Club on Wednesday, February 19 at 11am, and again at 6pm.
A crèche will be available, and children are also welcome to sit with their parents in the session.
No bookings are required, just turn up.
A spokesperson said if there is demand, more sessions can be arranged.
NSW Health has deployed an additional 11 mental health clinicians to the Eurobodalla to assist with community recovery.
The sessions will take place at the Batemans Bay Soldiers Club, Beach Road Batemans Bay.
