A meet and greet will be held at the courts at the Uniting Church, Hanging Rock, on Thursday January 30, from 6pm.
Enthusiastic club member Edward Freeman offers plenty of good reasons to join.
"Whilst we boast world, Australian, state, regional and local champions, we also cater for, and our first love and passion is for novice players who want to explore what is acknowledged by sports scientists worldwide as the consummate individual sport," Mr Freeman said.
"We want, need, and excitedly welcome all and sundry to discuss, have a look, have a hit, and immerse yourself into a sport from which you may never escape.
"At the recent Australian Masters Champioships on the Gold Coast the oldest player was 93 and he had similar aged competitors. No age limit, no gender limit, no ability limit.
"Get into the sport of squash racquets and you will never look back.
"Turn up Thursday 30th for a look or a try or grab a number from the Uniting Church entrance door.
"See you all there; your life will never be the same."
