Many January events have been cancelled across the Eurobodalla Shire, as the community assesses the damage from devastating bushfires that swept through the South Coast over the 2019/2020 New Year.
A Eurobodalla Show Society spokesperson said there would be face painting, free Dalmeny ice cream for kids, pony rides, an animal nursery, the K9 club, some Moruya markets booths and other surprises.
"We would like to be sure all communities in the Eurobodalla Shire area are welcomed with the hopes to lift spirits, share stories, donate to RFS if desired, eat some sausages and enjoy various kids entertainment," the spokesperson said.
"We would really like this to be a very positive experience for everyone in the area to receive encouragement and community support."
The show committee thanked sponsors' donations.
"We would like to let them know that unless otherwise coordinated, we will hold all prizes/vouchers over to our 2021 Show, which will be better than ever," the spokesperson said.
The event would be run by the Eurobodalla Show Society.
