Motorists will experience short delays on Monday to Thursday, January 20-23, in both directions of the Kings Highway near Old Punt Road and Bayridge Drive.
This work was for concrete barrier relocation and line marking works and would be carried out between 7am and 5pm, weather permitting.
From January 29, access to the service centre from the Princes Highway just north of the Batemans Bay Bridge will also be closed.
"This will enable construction of an additional northbound lane on the highway and improved entrance to the service centre," a spokesperson said.
"Access to the service centre is still available via the Kings Highway and Old Punt Road.
"Concrete barriers will also be installed at this location to ensure the safety of workers and motorists during the work, which is expected to be completed in mid-2020, weather permitting.
"Traffic control, lane closures and a reduced speed limit of 40 km/h will be in place for the safety of workers and road users.
"Traffic control will be in place and motorists are advised to follow the direction of signs and traffic control."
