About 4.15pm on Boxing Day, a 22-year-old man was observed riding an unregistered trailbike in the carpark of a club on Beach Road in Batemans Bay.
Police will allege a breath test returned a positive result.
He was arrested and taken to Batemans Bay Police Station where a subsequent breath analysis reading of 0.210 was allegedly recorded. His learner's licence was also revealed to be disqualified.
He was charged with driving while disqualified, driving with high range PCA, using an unregistered and uninsured motor vehicle on a road. He is due to appear in Batemans Bay Local Court on Monday, February 17.
One week into Operation Safe Arrival, NSW Police remain frustrated drivers are still not getting the message about responsible driving in the festive season.
Police have issued more than 6000 speeding infringements and more than 350 PCA charges in the first seven days of the operation, the annual road policing campaign for Christmas and New Year.
