It's been a big few days for all the emergency service teams fighting the bushfires all over the South Coast.
Under such stressful and exhausting conditions it's important that the firefighters look after themselves.
Paul Gleeson from the Rural Service said fatigue management was an important factor to consider when it comes to fighting bushfires like the ones in Currowan, Termeil, South Durras and Bawley Point areas.
We had a chat with Paul about managing fatigue and how the situation in general was looking.
Meanwhile, the Rural Fire Service has issued an emergency warning for the Currowan Fire, burning north of Batemans Bay. The fire has burnt more than 39,1000 hectares and is not yet under control.
One home has been confirmed as lost in the fires this week.
The fire was downgraded to watch and act on Wednesday.
