In the midst of the hurly burly that masquerades as Christmas in our modern busy times, let us offer you a time of reflection, and time of joy and a time of goodwill to all humankind.
Just before Christmas - pause for a while. Come to the Christmas Celebration Concert and relax.
In conjunction with the Moruya and District Brass Band and Sing Australia, the Uniting Church invites you to celebrate Christmas in peace, with music, singing and poignant but amusing reflections on the meaning of Christmas.
The concert will be held in the Batemans Bay Uniting Church on December 22, starting at 7pm, and finishing at 9pm, just in time to get the little ones to bed.
There will be plenty of carols to sing along with the choir and band, and some very talented young people performing as well. The grand finale will be the band playing Handel's "Hallelujah Chorus" from "The Messiah", an uplifting way to end the evening.
And it's free! Our Christmas gift to all who attend.
