For those who missed out on tickets for this wonderful production, The Lion, The Witch and the Wardrobe tells the story of four siblings and their adventures in the mysterious fantasy world of Narnia, where trees can walk and animals can talk.
Narnia has been cast into an endless winter by the evil White Witch, and the four children, with the help of Mr and Mrs Beaver and Aslan the Lion, set out to restore the land and defeat the White Witch's army.
The Bay Theatre Players youth theatre production has a cast of more than 25 young people, who have been transformed into animals and fantastical creatures by some beautiful costumes and amazing stage makeup.
Producer of The Lion, The Witch and the Wardrobe, Lyn Sterling, thanked the cast, crew and production team for the mammoth effort they have put in to make the show such a success.
"The cast has developed their performance skills and have grown in confidence while fostering new friendships during rehearsals and performances," Lyn said. "We greatly appreciate the wonderful support of the backstage crew from makeup and hair, to costume supervisors and kids' support."
