The former council worker, sporting club and community stalwart died at the weekend.
Tributes have flowed for the man who helped make so many community facilties - from sporting fields to roundabouts - become reality.
Raymond Patrick Weyman, affectionately known to all as Ack, died aged 75 after a lifetime of service.
In lieu of flowers, his family requested donations be made to Moruya Hospital's Oncology Unit.
Eurobodalla Shire Council workers were due to form a guard of honour outside the Sacred Heart Catholic Church and the community was invited to wave goodbye as Mr Weyman's hearse crossed the bridge over the Moruya River.
