Mr Weyman is synonymous with rugby league in the Moruya area, with the Moruya ground bearing his name.
He was key in creating the ground in 1988 and continued a passion for rugby league in the area, while also raising his two sons Tim and Michael, who both competed in the NRL.
After helping establish the ground and forge Moruya's rich history in rugby league, it was only in August that Mr Weyman was nominated as the CRL Volunteer of the Year with 31 devoted years to the game, and club.
At 73, Mr Weyman was still heavily involved in line-marking and strapping for the club throughout the 2019 season. "Ack was an amazing advocate for the great game of rugby league and he will be sadly missed, but never forgotten in the eyes of rugby league," officials shared.
