The winners were Michael Voce, Bob Starkovski, and Dave McCraw with a margin of plus 25.
The runners up Geoff Millard, Chris Maher, and Chris O'Brien with a plus 12. The jackpot draw went to Gerry Vandermey, the winning skip on rink 9. The jackpot was not won and carries over to next week. The prize for the first resting toucher was claimed by Steve Gigg.

Remembrance Day saw a good roll up of bowlers. The winners were Steve Baric and Ken Croft with a margin of plus 20. The runners up were Vince Fisher and Bob Starkovski with plus 9
The jackpot draw went to the winning skip on rink 9. As David Walker was absent, Owen Roe cut the deck for the joker and picked the right card. All the bowlers on rink 9 took a share of the jackpot prize. The first resting toucher was claimed by Gerry Vandermey.
Today's winners of the club vouchers in the raffle were Alan Collins and Peter Hutchinson.
Important Reminders for Bowlers and Visitors.
Bowlers are reminded that due to green renovations we are restricted one green and social bowls may be triples until further notice.
All Men's Club Members and invited guests are requested to nominate for bowls and their menu choice for lunch for our presentation day to be held on Saturday 7th December.
More names are required from Tomakin bowlers who plan to play pennants next year. We would like to see three full teams listed for the trial match to be played on Saturday, December 14.
Tomakin Twist Tops
Another great morning on the green for 36 bowlers. Welcome to visitors as well as some new bowlers, we hope you enjoyed your morning with Twisties. President Steven welcomed everyone reminding all that our Christmas Party will be on 8th December after a morning of bowls, names must be in by 1st December. There will be a barbecue breakfast on 15th December. The award this week went to Henry Butler, when answering the phone on Sunday he put the wrong name down for someone who he thought he recognised their voice!! Winners were those with lowest winning margin, Brett Keagan, Dick "Moby" Morley and Margaret "Hot Lips " Carney. Runners-up, Steven Hogan, Michael Voce and David Daverin. Brett selected Rink 11 to try for Jackpot, Steven did the honours but came up with 2 of Spades and 1 off the Joker, bad luck Steven. Breakfast Trays won by Sonia and Bob Starkovski.
Malua Bay Women
There were no bowls played last Tuesday being Melbourne Cup Day. Thursday, the quarter finals of Minor Singles was contested. Wendy Geary forfeited to Judy Davis, Judy will now proceed to semi-final. Kim Giannasca defeated Serena Short 25/16, what a great game to watch, Kim was in the lead early on but Serena caught up and really had Kim worried. Jeanette Roberts defeated Colleen Ashby 25/10. Well done to Colleen for taking part in competition as she is a newer bowler with Jeanette having more experience. Cathy Egan defeated Lisa Grice 23/13, another great game to watch. Thank you to Umpire Carol Dutkiewicz, Marker and Controlling Body Fran Lucas.

MORUYA MENS BOWLING CLUB
ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING: The AGM of the Mens Bowling will be held on Sunday 8 December at 10.00am.
PRESENTATION DAY: The 2019 Presentation Day will be held on Saturday 7 December at 1.30pm.

The Moruya Women's Bowling Club held a very successful Medley Carnival on Thursday, October 24.
First: Jenny Blyth, Bev Feehan, Janet McKay and Karen Signor, from Malua Bay club.
Second: Pat Bill, Alison Innes, Helen Rees and Gaye Biggs from Malua Bay club.
Third: Gail Page, Denise Lidbury, Irene McDonald and Rose Farrington from Tuross Heads club.
Best last game: Ellie Crompton, Nolene Taylor, Kim Giannasca and Julie Lewis from Malua Bay club.
Narooma Men
Social Bowls Winners' Circle: There were 38 bowlers on Wednesday with the winners being decided by Highest Winning Margin. The winners were Wazza George, Tony Palmer and Brian Seaman (skip) who started strongly to lead 15 to 5 after 11 ends and continued that good form for a 27 to 11 win against Scott Kennedy, Tony Cobcroft and Mitch Mitchell (skip). Second place went to Leigh Falkiner, Michael Knight and Ray Gale (skip) who were on the jack early leading 15 to 7 after 11 ends and then retained that form for a 28 to 12 win over Don Caldwell, Greg Riley and John Voytas (skip). We also had one Dixie Dean Triples game with Neville Cork, Peter Robson and Graham Cummins (skip) who were down 5 to 11 after 11 ends before they clicked into gear to storm home for a 18 to 16 win against Allen Chisholm, Rod Holman and Peter Jones (skip). The first resting toucher went to Leigh Falkiner at 12.49, well done Leigh that form was shown throughout your game today. Thank you to Rapley's Midtown Quality Meats for their continued sponsorship.
On Saturday we had 20 bowlers enjoying the day and the the Saturday Jackpot was won by Shorty Smart and his team who collected a cool $700. The winners were decided by Highest Winning Margin and the first prize went to Darrel Goodridge, John Voytas and Ray Gale (skip) who were 11 all after 11 ends and then drew away for a 26 to 14 win over Gary Evans, Paul Read and John McNamara (skip). Second place went to Allen Chisholm and Rod Holman (skip) who led 11 to 9 after 16 ends before finishing determidly for a 24 to 13 win against Tiger Fryer and Peter McKay (skip).
On Sunday we had 32 bowlers playing 4 games of triples and 2 games of pairs. Winners were decided by Lowest Winning Score with the winners being Di Fry, birthday girl Pam Grant and Kevin Callaway (skip). They had a close game with the lead changing on 5 occasions before they took the last 3 ends for a 16 to 13 win against Rachel Smith, Paul Read and Jean Vos (skip). Second place went to Sue Bender, Jan Rapkins ans Peter Murton (skip) who had a 17 to 9 lead after 13 ends and just held on for an 18 to 17 win against Baxter Smith, Graeme Smith and Darrel Goodridge (skip).
President's Pairs: The final of the President's pairs was played last week between Steve Murane and Graham Cummins (skip) and Allen Chisholm and John Voytas (skip). Both teams had some good wins on the way to the final and a good tussle was expected. It was a very close match early with each team taking the lead on 3 occasions and after 11 ends Steve and Graham led 12 to 11. From that point on Steve and Graham really hit their straps to keep their opponents scoreless as they went on to take the match 22 to 11. Congratulations to Steve and Graham.

Second place went to Peter Dillon, Jeremy Seaton and Les Waldock (skip) who had a hard fight early to lead 17 to 13 after 11 ends and the second half was just as close except for 1 end as they went on to win 27 to 18 against Tony Fryer, John Voytas and Paul Read (skip). The first resting toucher went to Rex Dunne at 12.45, well done Rex. On Saturday 20 bowlers enjoyed the day. The winners were decided by Lucky Rinks and the first prize went to Bill Turnbull, Paul Naylor and Billy Wilton (skip) who were down 10 to 12 after 11 ends and won on a countback after being 19 all against Craig Campbell, Carl Lee and Shorty Smart (skip).
