A 95-year old WWII veteran was one of many Moruya residents paying tribute to service men and women at the Moruya Memorial Hall on November 11.

Moruya RSL patron Harold Barkley, of Moruya, stood next to service personnel, students, and residents of the Eurobodalla Shire to commemorate the 101st anniversary of the end of WWI.
Students and community members laid wreaths.
The Last Post bugle call was played by Peter Poole and Corey Miles sang the National Anthem.
Moruya RSL Sub Branch and master of ceremonies Kevin Setter recited the poem, "The Inquisitve Mind of a Child" by an unknown author.
"We are here today to remember these words, and the thousands of our service personnel who have given their lives for our great nation, others who suffered from the effects of what they encountered on the battle fields of the various conflicts in which this nation has been engaged," Mr Setter said.
